Red Dead Redemption is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. Originally released in May 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the game is set in the American frontier during the decline of the Wild West in the year 1911. Players assume the role of John Marston, a former outlaw forced by government agents to hunt down members of his old gang to secure his family’s freedom.
